Q. How much does a franchise cost?

A. The initial franchise fee is $50,000. The franchise fee is paid upon the execution of the franchise agreement.

 

Q. What is the continuing royalty fee?

A. The royalty fee is 4% of gross sales, exclusive of sales tax. This continuing fee is paid weekly.

 

Q. Is there a marketing or advertising fee?

A. Yes, the advertising fee is 2.5% of gross sales and the production fee is .3%, exclusive of sales tax. These continuing fees are paid weekly.

 

Q. How much cash will I need?

A. The investment involved in opening a Casa Olé franchise typically range from $814,000 to $2,504,000 depending on your development situation. The liquid assets (assets readily convertible to cash within 30 days) and/or cash required for a Casa Olé Restaurant project is a minimum of $250,000.

 

Q. How much can I earn owning a Casa Ole Restaurant?

A. Many factors must be considered in determining potential earnings and profits. Some of the factors that effect your profitability include sales volume, location, size of restaurant, competition, cost controls and managerial skills. Casa Olé provides you with the franchise development data necessary to make an informed business decision. Q. Does Casa Olé offer any financing?

A. No. Casa Olé does not offer any direct financing, but can direct you to various lending institutions with financing programs for which you may qualify.

 

Q. What is the term of the franchise agreement?

A. The initial term of the franchise agreement is 10 years. However, you will also have the option to renew and extend the franchise for two (2) additional five (5) year periods.

 

Q. Where can I have a franchise?

A. Casa Olé is developing franchises in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. A 75 mile radius from Houston, Texas city hall is reserved for corporate development.

 

Q. Who will select the location?

A. It is the responsibility of each franchisee to acquire a suitable location. Casa Olé Franchise representatives will work with you to find and secure a quality market and building site. All sites must be approved by Casa Olé.

 

Q. Is there a charge for the training program?

A. There is no charge for the training program itself, however, travel expenses, lodging and food costs necessary to attend the training course are the responsibility of the individual franchisee.

 

Q. Is the franchise a sellable or transferable asset?

A. Yes, you may sell or transfer your franchise to a buyer or transferee pending approval from COFS although COFS maintains first right of refusal.
