The name we ended up choosing for Casa Piñata was "Papi Chulo", but we are going to call him "Papi" for short. We would like to CONGRATULATE Danica of Houston, our Grand Prize Winner!
Casa Ole' and The Rose Make Tuesdays Matter
HOUSTON (March 4, 2009) – For the third year, local Casa Ole’ Restaurants made a difference in the breast cancer landscape of our community by donating 10% of sales every Tuesday in October to The Rose. Thanks to the generous Casa Ole‘ employees and loyal supporters, the total this year was $21,106.49, bringing the three-year total to a staggering $74,876.41!
From February 17 – March 18, 2009 Casa Olé restaurants sold Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Shamrocks and Shamrock Pins in their restaurants to raise money for “Jerry’s Kids”. A total of $23,228 was raised for MDA.
“We were really excited to partner with the Muscular Dystrophy Association for a second year in a row to raise money for local families who use the services of the MDA,” said Kathy Dalton, Sr. Marketing Manager for Casa Olé. “Our goal this year was to raise a $1,000 per restaurant location.”
